I have news for you. The fact is vision boards work! There's a simple explanation of why they work so well. Creating a sacred space to display what you want will bring it to life. What we focus on expands. When you create a vision board and place it in a space where you see it often, you are essentially doing short visualization exercises throughout the day.
Visualization is one of the most powerful mind exercises you can do. According to the popular book The Secret, "The law of attraction is forming your entire life experience and it is doing that through your thoughts. When you are visualizing, you are emitting a powerful frequency out into the Universe." Whether you believe that or not, visualization works.
So, what's the big secret to creating a vision board that works?
It's simple: Your vision board should focus on how you want to feel, not just on things that you want. Don't get me wrong, it's great to include the material stuff, too. However, the more your board focuses on how you want to feel, the more it will come to life.
The Law of Attraction (LOA) is a powerful, universal law that provides the opportunity to shape our lives and attract our deepest, greatest desires. It states that: Our attitudes and beliefs create a magnet to attract events, circumstances and opportunities to live out those attitudes and beliefs. Being aware of the 7 Laws Of Attraction is a good foundation for making conscious choices, but you can't ignore the fact that the energetic vibrations of your unconscious beliefs are really where you need to focus if you want to have lasting change. One of the most powerful tools for utilizing the LOA is having a vision board.
In addition to the Law of Attraction, to succeed in the new year, to have a happier life, and to reach our dreams and goals we must heal past wounds. It is impossible to succeed in life when you hold onto the past. When you bring hatred, malice, sadness, regret, negativity to the new year, you cannot achieve the next chapter of your life.
